Life of a King: National Second Chance Month Community Movie Screening

Life of a King: National Second Chance Month Community Movie Screening

In recognition of National Second Chance Month, Ex-Cons Matter Foundation and community partners will host a special screening of the inspiring movie “Life of a King,” followed by a live in person discussion with Eugene Brown — the real-life mentor whose journey from incarceration to community leadership inspired the movie.

This event is designed to spark meaningful conversation around redemption, mentorship, decision-making, and the power of second chances. Through the movie and dialogue, we aim to engage youth groups, educators, and community leaders in a powerful experience that highlights resilience and personal transformation.
