Join us on the Deuces [22nd Street South between 7th Ave S & 9th Ave S] on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the 4th Tampa Bay Chalk Festival! Over 25 community artists will create beautiful sidewalk art with the theme “OUR WATERY FUTURES 2026”! Plus a panel of environmental experts!

Matt Aucoin’s Music for New Bodies, created in collaboration with acclaimed director Peter Sellars, is a bold operatic meditation on our shifting place in the natural world. Fusing poetic texts from Jorie Graham with visceral soundscapes, Aucoin crafts a work that is at once urgent and transcendent, while Sellars’ visionary staging brings the music into striking visual focus. Together, they invite us to imagine new forms of life, connection, and transformation.
