The Rotary Club of Sarasota will be hosting the Second Annual Sarasota Wildlife Art show this weekend. The Sarasota Wildlife Art Show is a 2 day event and will feature more than 40 painters, sculptors, photographers and jewelers. Chairman of the Sarasota Wildlife Art Festival, Robert Gaglio says people can learn a lot about the environment from this great collection of art.
“Well for one, you are going to get blown away by the quality of the art, because it has been juried by a group from Ringling College, which has sponsored our event.,” Gaglio said. “That jury has assembled just an amazing array of artists from across the country, you're going to see over 250 birds that reside at Save Our Seabirds. Enjoy music and food right by the water here on City Island.”
The event is $5 for adults, and children under the age of 12 are admitted free, proceeds will benefit the Save Our Seabirds foundation and the Rotary Club of Sarasota. Included with admission is $5 off Molt Marine, which is located right next door to the art show.
