A strong cold front will enter the State of Florida late Friday night. The main concern is the blustery winds after the frontal passage. Winds are expected to blow during the day on Saturday from 15 to 20 mph, with periods of 20 to 25 mph gusts. The strong winds will effect both the Gulf, and Atlantic coasts.
Marine hazards include, gale force warnings and small craft advisories through Sunday. High temperatures around the state will range from the 60s, and lows in the 40's. It is likely that temperatures overnight on Saturday will drop into the 30s for north, and central portions of the state.
In tropical news, a tropical wave in the Caribbean is producing some showers and thunderstorms, however, it is likely to be sheered off by the approaching cold front in the upcoming days. The National Hurricane Center has issued that no tropical cyclone formation is expected to develop in the the next five days.
