A man being sought in connection with four deaths in Pasco County was taken into custody early Friday morning in Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Times says Adam Matos was arrested at a downtown Tampa hotel after a day-long manhunt.
Ismael "Tristan" Santiseban, a 4-year-old boy with autism, was reported missing from the Hudson home where some of the four dead people are believed to have lived. He was found with Matos, and police said the boy was unharmed.
Tampa police sayid staff at the Floridan Palace Hotel and people who saw Matos at a local bus station contacted law enforcement. A SWAT team ended up luring Matos out of the hotel room and taking him into custody.
The Times reports Matos is expected to be booked into the Hillsborough County Jail later today on an aggravated assault charge. Matos allegedly threatened Tristan's mother with a knife at a Hudson home Aug. 28.
Someone called authorities Thursday, saying they hadn't been able to reach anyone living at that home at 7719 Hatteras Drive in Hudson. Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said there were "obvious signs that something bad had happened in that house."
The four bodies were found outside less than a mile away. Authorities are still trying to identify those people.
Authorities had issued an Amber Alert for Tristan. Matos has been named as a suspect in the killings, but hasn't been charged.
