Seniors with prediabetes should eat better, get moving, but not fret too much about diabetes
About half of adults 65 and older have above-normal blood sugar levels that put them in the prediabetes category. Although that is a signal to improve your eating habits and get more exercise, researchers say only a small percentage of the group will develop diabetes.

Before this week is over, jurors in Michael Jackson's trial could be deliberating his guilt or innocence. But those 12 people are hardly the only ones in the country who will be talking about Michael Jackson. Just about everybody else is, too. Jersey Shore Residents Draw Line In The Sand Over Dunes After Sandy
Many residents and officials say New Jersey beach towns with bigger sand dunes suffered the least damage during Hurricane Sandy. The federal government's been working on building up dunes along the coast. On Long Beach Island, N.J., the town's mayor is eager for the beach replenishment work to move forward as soon as possible. But some oceanfront residents oppose federal dune-building. They say it's their land and they don't want the government to build up the dunes in front of their homes, unless they're compensated.
