Gulf Coast MakerCon is Tampa Bay’s oldest and longest running maker festival, celebrating the DIY Inventive Spirit since 2012! The event annually showcases everything from arts to automation, music to mechanics and everything in between! Join us to show what you make, or get inspired by what others make. Browse and buy at arts, crafts and innovative products booths, enjoy presentations, panels and workshops by industry experts in aerospace, artificial intelligence, arts, entertainment, and media, and enter to win a fun variety of raffles and silent auction items.

GCMC guests can also enjoy Combat @ MakerCon, with over 30 light-weight fighting robots vying for top honors and Rusty Wrench Award. Kids (and adults!) can go wild in our Deconstruction Zone, dismantling electronics and learning about them in the process.

Open to the public with NO COST for admission. Family friendly and handicap accessible. Play runs 60 minutes, followed by 30-minute Q & A with Florida Highway Patrol and Local Law Enforcement.
