Go nose to nose with Big John, the World’s Largest Triceratops, in an immersive and playful dinosaur exhibit at the Glazer Children’s Museum in Downtown Tampa. Whether you have a child at home or not, all are welcome to visit this colossal exhibit, 66 million years in the making.

MAACM Pour and Tour: The Artists of Byrdcliffe Colony

Enjoy this docent-led tour that includes the history of this brief, but impactful artisan community established in Woodstock, NY during the Arts and Crafts era, and view the beautiful furniture crafted by notable artists like Zulma Steele. Meet in the Arts Café at 10:00 am for refreshments prior to the tour.

MAACM Family Day: Pirate Invasion!
Saturday, March 14. 2026 from 10 am - 1 pm
MAACM has been invaded by the pirate Krewe of the Scarlett Fortuna! Bring your family to MAACM’s education studio to enjoy pirate stories, music, activities and fun displays by Capt’n Hawk and the Krewe. These terrific volunteers are dedicated to the purpose of exciting children about reading, history, and of course, pirates! Included with admission.

University Park Country Club Announces 26th Annual Art in the Park
March 14–15, 2026 | Open to the Public

University Park, FL — University Park Country Club is proud to present the 26th annual Art in the Park, one of the longest-running fine art exhibits and sales in the Sarasota/Bradenton region. Open to the public on March 14–15, 2026, this celebrated event will showcase more than 60 professional and non-professional artists and over 150 works of art.

Visitors will enjoy an exceptional variety of mediums, including large and small-scale paintings, mixed media, photography, sculpture, prints, and note cards. Most pieces will be available for purchase. Last year’s milestone 25th anniversary event was a dazzling success and was praised for its impressive breadth of fine art, attracting almost 1,000 visitors in 2025.

This is a juried art show with cash prizes; this year's scheduled judges include Maria Lyle, Judy Lyons, and Janet Mishner. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece to determine the coveted People’s Choice Award.

This year’s exhibition will take place indoors in the Lakeside Room from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. Guests are invited to extend their visit with lunch, brunch, or a glass of wine while taking in scenic views of the University Park Country Club championship golf course. Free admission and parking.
