The alligator is a symbol of prosperity for the Seminole Tribe. And they have enjoyed prosperity since the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino opened 10 years ago.

Watch as members of the tribe perform an "alligator walk" at the beginning of the 10-year anniversary celebration. Seminole Billie Walker is the one carrying the alligator on his shoulders.

As part of the celebration, the Seminole Hard Rock has pledged to donate $10,000 a year for the next 10 years to four Tampa Bay charities: Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts; DeBartolo Family Foundation; Metropolitan Ministries; and Hands Across the Bay.

The Tampa Hard Rock Casino is the fourth largest casino in the U.S. and sixth largest in the world, according to James Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International.
