Authorities say firefighters found an adult and a child dead inside a burning mobile home near Tampa.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews were called to the home around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
A sheriff's office news release says crews quickly extinguished the fire and found the victims inside the home.
Officials say a deputy was treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns to his hands. He was treated and released at a hospital.
The medical examiner's office is working to identify the victims so next of kin can be notified.
