Three Florida high school students are facing suspension for wearing Ku Klux Klan costumes to school.

The Tampa Bay Times reports Saturday three Wiregrass Ranch High boys wore the costumesThursday for a homecoming week event where students were supposed to dress up as characters. Other students dressed up as superheroes and TV characters.

Two of the boys are Hispanic and one is Arabic. Their names have not been released. Administrators say the boys said they were dressed as ghosts but the costumes consisted of white sheets with pointy hats.
