President Donald Trump has postponed his scheduled appearance Tuesday at The Villages in Sumter County following the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
“In light of this weekend’s tragedies, the president has postponed (Tuesday’s) visit to The Villages, Florida,” a White House official said.
According to reports, the president was expected to speak on Medicare. The appearance would have come a month following his 2020 campaign rally in Orlando.
The official said it is not yet known whether he will reschedule.
