Missing Buses Part of Purgatory 'For Our Past Sins'

Republican Party of Sarasota County Joe Gruters had the best quote of the day.

Gruters was one of the Florida delegates stranded at the Innisbrook Resort when their buses failed to show on time.

"Well you know we're paying the price," Gruters said. "We were sent to purgatory for our past sins and unfortunately it took three hours to get from Innisbrook over to here."

Many in the Florida delegation view their housing at the Palm Harbor resort as a punishment for breaking RNC rules by moving up the presidential preference primary.

Florida wasn't alone. The (Columbia, S.C.) State reports South Carolina delegates staying at the same hotel were also stranded.
