USF Middle East Expert Weighs in on Riots in Libya

A controversial movie about the prophet Muhammad is seen as the match that ignited the fire in Libya and elsewhere.

It is getting the blame for the slayings of four Americans in Libya, but a local expert says there is more to it than that.
USF Middle East expert Mohsen Milani says the reasons lie deeper.

Milani says this could be revenge for the assassination of former Libyan dictator Muammar Quaddafi, or...

"More likely I think it is related to Al-Qaeda because recently the second man in command of Al-Qaeda in Libya was killed."

Milani also says there is no justification for the events that took place, whether caused by a video or not.
