Earl Lennard Reflects on Tenure as Supervisor of Elections

After serving three years, Earl Lennard's last day as Hillsborough's Supervisor of Elections will be Monday. Lennard had already retired once - as Hillsborough School Superintendent. He was picked by then-Gov. Charlie Crist for his current post after Phyllis Busansky died in office in 2009.

Earlier today, he had a reception in his honor at the elections office on Falkenburg Road. WUSF's Steve Newborn spoke with Lennard about his changes to the elections office - and what's in his future.

I cover Florida’s unending series of issues with the environment and politics in the Tampa Bay area.
