To begin the 40th season of La Musica Chamber Music Festival, artistic director Wu Han is bringing in 20 artists from Chamber Music Society to perform all six of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos.

The Florida Orchestra's music director and resident conductor will serve as "artists-in-residence" this season at the University of South Florida's School of Music.

Bax has been performing the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 for more than 30 years and said he is still discovering more in the work.

Opera Tampa features this work as part of a season filled with the supernatural and the unexplained. "Love v. Death" performances are Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at The Straz Center.
