Despite a very active wildfire season, Florida Forest Service Firefighters will now be helping other states battle their own blazes.

According to the Florida Department of Agriculture, there are already fire personnel helping in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, and Utah.

On Saturday, two crews of 41 wildland firefighters will be assigned to help battle wildfires in western states, based on the fire activity. They’ll be working alongside crews from Georgia and Puerto Rico.

This year, Florida Forest Service firefighters battled more than 2,500 wildfires in the Sunshine state.
