LiveLung Tampa Chapter: Lung Cancer Education & Support Meeting
The LiveLung Tampa Chapter brings together people impacted by lung cancer—patients, survivors, care partners, and loved ones—for education, connection, and support.
We meet in person on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am at:

Each meeting features expert speakers sharing the latest information about lung cancer, along with time to connect with others who understand the journey.

BayCare Kids Mobile Medical Clinic provided by the Children's Board Family Resource Centers for Hillsborough County Residents.

Well-Child Exams and Immunizations
St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Mobile Medical Clinic off ers
well-child physicals and immunizations at no cost for
children who are age 18 or younger and:
 Are enrolled in Medicaid OR
 Have no health insurance OR
 Are American Indians or Alaskan natives

Visit Requirements
-In-Person Registration is required. Please visit your local Children's Board Family Resource Center to register.
-All children must have their parent or legal guardian present. A notarized guardianship letter is required to show legal guardianship.
-The parent or legal guardian must bring their photo ID.
-Each child scheduled will need to bring their most current immunization record, even if they do not need shots.
-Sports Physicals are not provided.

All children qualify for the health screenings listed below, with or without insurance:
-Child development screening
-Hearing screening
-Vision screening
-Health navigator

The Central Park Performing Arts Center (CPPAC) welcomes legendary guitarist Paul Gilbert on Friday, May 22 at 8pm. Performing with his full band, Gilbert will be bringing his latest project, WROC, to the stage.

Best known as a co-founder of Mr. Big and Racer X, Paul Gilbert is celebrated worldwide for his shredding talent, melodic sensibility, and genre-spanning career. Over decades as a solo artist and band member, Gilbert has built a reputation for pairing jaw-dropping guitar work, moving effortlessly between hard rock, metal, and pop-influenced songwriting.

Gilbert’s newest album, WROC (2026), takes inspiration from George Washington’s Rules of Civility. The result is a collection of high-energy rock songs that blend humor, history, and precision guitar work.
