Tampa Bay’s number one family-friendly Halloween event, Creatures of the Night, returns eerier than ever this fall. Perfect for all ages, the frightful, fun-filled event features howling outdoor experiences, amusing shows, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats and much more on thirteen select nights through October 26! This year’s event features a new colossal adventure, Mesozoic Mayhem, a bone-chilling scare zone where ancient beasts roam once more and chaos ensues after scientists tamper with nature. Guests encounter life-size dinosaurs, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and just the right amount of fright that proves that eerie fun never goes extinct.
Creatures of the Night takes place on 13 select nights in September and October from 4pm to 10pm.
Event nights are September 26 (members-only night), September 27, Oct. 3-4, Oct. 10-12, Oct. 17-19, and Oct. 24-26.
General admission tickets after 4PM are $29.95 (Friday & Sunday), $34.95 (Saturday), and can be purchased online at zootampa.org.

About The Derek Lersch BandDerek Lersch is a national touring country artist based out of Bradenton, FL. With a passion for music and a drive to succeed, Derek began performing for his family at the young age of three and has now performed over 600 shows in last couple years. Derek and his band hit the road hard traveling over 60,000 miles, playing in 24 states and even Canada. He has shared the stage with Machine Gun Kelly and Jessie Murph, opened for acts like Rodney Atkins, David Nail, and Jay Allen, as well as performed at Raymond James Stadium and Amalie Arena. Derek thrives on the big stage.

“Art, Actually” is a community-centered speaker series at ACS that explores the role of art in shaping Sarasota’s cultural identity—past, present, and future. Each session highlights the voices of local artists, cultural leaders, and creative thinkers as they reflect on how art connects us, tells our shared stories, and inspires meaningful dialogue. Grounded in Sarasota’s rich artistic legacy, this series celebrates the power of creativity to build community and spark change. $15 for New Friends of the Art Center. Free for Members.

The University of South Florida, the City of St. Petersburg, Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and other community partners are joining together to invite community families to USF’s St. Petersburg campus for Halloween tent/trunk or treating; kids activities, a haunted house, and other spooky activities.
