Tampa Bay’s number one family-friendly Halloween event, Creatures of the Night, returns eerier than ever this fall. Perfect for all ages, the frightful, fun-filled event features howling outdoor experiences, amusing shows, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats and much more on thirteen select nights through October 26!
This year’s event features a new colossal adventure, Mesozoic Mayhem, a bone-chilling scare zone where ancient beasts roam once more and chaos ensues after scientists tamper with nature. Event nights are September 26 (members-only night), September 27, Oct. 3-4, Oct. 10-12, Oct. 17-19, and Oct. 24-26.

General admission tickets after 4PM are $29.95 (Friday & Sunday), $34.95 (Saturday), and can be purchased online at zootampa.org.

Go nose to nose with Big John, the World’s Largest Triceratops, in an immersive and playful dinosaur exhibit at the Glazer Children’s Museum in Downtown Tampa. Whether you have a child at home or not, all are welcome to visit this colossal exhibit, 66 million years in the making.

The MFA welcomes families with children with sensory sensitivities to explore the galleries on the 1st Saturday of every month, from 10 am to 12 pm. During this time, all rotating audio components will be turned down or muted to ensure a calm environment.
Visitors can also join our Sensory Saturday Hands-On program for activities filled with sensory play. Explore and experiment with non-toxic, sensory-friendly materials in the Membership Garden and create your own artwork to take home. All ages are welcome, though activities are generally geared towards ages 2-10. When registering, please select a time slot: either 10–11 am or 11 am–12 pm.

GULFPORT, FL – This November, Gulfport’s neighborhoods will once again come alive with color and creativity as Art in the Yard returns. The beloved bi-annual event transforms 2.7 square miles of front yards into galleries, showcasing the work of more than 50 local artists. Rain-date 11/2.

Visitors can browse an eclectic mix of paintings, sculpture, wearables, jewelry, and mixed-media pieces, all displayed in the relaxed and welcoming setting of Gulfport’s historic streets. It’s a chance to connect directly with artists, discover original works, and bring home something truly unique.

Known for its thriving arts community, Gulfport takes pride in fostering local talent, and Art in the Yard reflects that spirit of creativity and neighborly connection. Whether you’re searching for a statement piece or simply enjoying the stroll, the event offers inspiration at every turn.

Have fun in the HAY PLAY AREA and HAY MAZE. Explore the TREE HOUSE and FUN FARM ACTIVITIES.  Hold on to your hats as you race  PEDDLE TRACTORS, and take aim with the PUMPKIN Launchers . Find your creative side in the FALL Craft ACTIVITY AREA. Treat yourself with some FRESH PRESSED APPLE CIDER,  FOOD VENDORS, our HARVEST BARN market and the beautiful *PUMPKIN PATCH. There is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE of all ages!  Charge your phones and personal cameras there are lots of moments and photo opportunities to capture this FALL ON THE FARM.
