MAACM The Dragonfly Glass ClassFriday, March 20 and 27, 2026; 10 am to 1 pmThe dragonfly represents good luck, prosperity, courage, and wisdom in many cultures. Reap these benefits by crafting your own amazing insect in this level 1 project. Registration for this class includes two 3-hr glass sessions, 3/20 and 3/27. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in class. Class fee: Non-members: $125; Members: $110.

-Butterfly Gardening Seminar, 10 am: Come out to this free seminar to learn how to make your garden a butterfly hangout. Watching a butterfly move through its stages of egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and adult is truly magical, especially in your own backyard. We’ll discuss host plants, nectar plants, and tips for designing and caring for your garden. The seminar will be held in the Kerby’s Nursery Greenhouse.

Mexican sculptor Jacobo Alonso brings a dynamic new body of textile work to Central Florida in this site-specific exhibition. Situated Body reimagines the classical human form through contemporary materials, especially felt, transforming traditional sculpture into colorful, expressive abstraction. Inspired by both pre-Columbian traditions and the Art Center’s Mayan Revival architecture, Alonso’s work, created during his 2025 residency at A&H, challenges assumptions about form, identity, and material.
