Analysis Of Final Day of Supreme Court Affordable Care Act Arguments

The Twitterverse was really rocking with discussion of what's been happening in the U.S. Supreme Court today.  It was the final day of oral arguments over the centerpiece policy of the Obama Administration, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

At issue today is the question of whether the legislation could stand up without the individual mandate.  Florida and dozens of other states are challenging the constitutionality of that facet of the law, which requires people to buy insurance or pay a fine.

The issue of Medicaid also loomed large in the arguments today.

Now that the arguments are over, deliberations begin.

NPR also gave us a peek into the process of deliberations from a former clerk at the U.S. Supreme Court.

I love telling stories about my home state. And I hope they will help you in some way and maybe even lift your spirits.
