When a beloved family friend asks for a wedding cake — only it’s for a same-sex marriage— a devout Southern baker must examine her long-held beliefs.

With the help of the community, local charity and arts organizations as well as volunteers, the Venice Theatre company launched its first show just a few months after the Category 4 storm moved through Venice.

A collapse of the rear wall allowed winds to rip open the roof and water to flood into the building's mainstage theater space.
