Join us this summer as we explore the world through art! Every day at the MFA is filled with time exploring the galleries, learning with MFA staff and other local experts, creating art, playing games, and making new friends and memories. Pop, cut, smash, create! Join us in the lab as we experiment with art-making and transform everyday items into extraordinary artworks. Find inspiration in the galleries as we learn about new artists each day from around the world and throughout history. All week long, we’ll explore unique ways to create–from unusual materials to unexpected methods. Build, break, melt, and shake your way through the artistic process as you bring your own artistic vision to life in the Art Lab!

Go nose to nose with Big John, the World’s Largest Triceratops, in an immersive and playful dinosaur exhibit at the Glazer Children’s Museum in Downtown Tampa. Whether you have a child at home or not, all are welcome to visit this colossal exhibit, 66 million years in the making.

Prepare for a Devilishly Good Time...

In Witch Hunt or, A Discourse on the Wonders of the Invisible World, written by Liz Duffy Adams, ten years after Abigail Williams, the instigator of the witch trials, disappeared from Salem, she turns up at the tavern of her fellow ex-witch-hunter, Mercy Lewis. About to leave the colonies forever, it’s her last chance to understand the madness that overtook them. But with war threatening northern New England yet again, Mercy and her fellow townspeople are in no mood for Abigail’s doubts, which suggest complicity with the devil. And just when everything is most dangerously tense—the devil himself shows up.
