As we enter the New Year with cautious expectation and resolve, The Gulf Coast Artists’ Alliance presents “Resolution”, an open call exhibition featuring nineteen artists from Tampa Bay and beyond, working in a variety of media. The show depicts a flexible concept of “resolve, decision or determination”. Each artist has interpreted the resolution theme in different ways and shares their visual story.
An opening reception will be held January 10 from 5pm to 9pm featuring music by singer/songwriter and guitarist Robin Rothschild, who has performed with the likes of Chick Corea and Frankie Avalon, and once opened for John Prine.
The exhibition is on view January 8 through February 21, 2026, at GCAA ArtWorks, 5546 1st Avenue N, St. Petersburg. Hours are 11 am to 5 pm Thursdays through Saturdays and 11am to 2pm on Wednesdays.
From Billy Joel to Alicia Keys, from Ray Charles to Freddie Mercury, Three Pianos celebrates the piano legends who refused to play by the rules. These aren’t your cookie-cutter rock stars: they’re the rebels, romantics, and risk-takers who turned 88 keys into pure magic. Enjoy timeless favorites like “Crocodile Rock,” “Just the Way You Are,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “I’m Still Standing,” and “Beautiful.” From the soulful sway of Fats Domino to the anthemic joy of Elton John, this high-energy musical revue proves that when you follow your own tune, the music never stops.
